Equipped with an abundance of winter woolies and enough food to feed us for a week, nine of the Hardhat team set off to tackle the slippery slopes of Mount Hotham last Friday. It was a long drive broken up by quality tunes, childhood car games and quaint country towns, but we were eventually greeted with a most glorious sight: masses of fresh white powder. Okay, so that’s a slight exaggeration, but we did settle very comfortably into our spacious Dinner Plain accommodation.
Donning our exclusive Hardhat branded skivvies, our crew of skiers and boarders (of mixed abilities) shredded the snow beneath crystal clear skies. The weekend included plenty of showing off, a few falls, homemade pizza and an emergency visit from the RACV. Sadly, it did have to end, but we’re already planning our next group getaway.
